R.O.W.A.N.: Robotic Operational Warfare and Assassination Neohuman

November 28, 2004 (3 months, 2 days after Judgment Day)
Pain was all she could feel after the world ended. Her body in constant agony and she couldn't understand why. She was dead.....Right? She rose out of the dark black abyss of pain and opened her left eye, the only thing that would respond to her brain's synapses. If she could move her face, her jaw would drop. The sky had turned to ash. Gray darkness swirled above her, mixing with a dismal burnt orange. She could not hear anything, everything silent, but she could feel the vibrations on the earth like pin needles stabbing her in the back. Suddenly, a blurred face veered into her vision and she blinked her eye.
'I'm alive,' she screamed in her head, blinking her eye wildly. The face disappeared, and with it, her savior. She felt tears forming painfully in her eye, cracking the dry skin surrounding it. The face reappeared and with it, a white and gray blur. The white and gray blur moved closer and she realized what it was. A syringe. She blinked her eye rapidly, her relief turning to horror as the syringe pricking her neck, the slightest sting and she felt the never ending pain recede, along with her consciousness. She entered painless sleep.
