Well, it's late. Lis' already asleep, but I can't seem to do the same. We're here in the hotel room Father reserved for us in Paris. As strange as it may be, I made friends today, and it all started with a collision. Since I can hardly go outside right now (it's raining), I'll explain.
Father sent Lis and I to Paris for beyblade parts. After all, we intend to win the Valais Regional Beyblade competition. Belette and Suzaku needed upgrades to say the least. After b-tching a bit, Lis finally packed up her things, and she and I got into the hedgehopper waiting for us.
I was watching the ground as we walked along the sidewalk in Paris when suddenly I ran into someone. Foreigners by the looks of the two. "Watch it," I said angrily, since I had dropped my bags. There wasn't a doubt that some of the parts had broken.
"You watch where you're going!" spat the taller one. Hispanics. Shoulda known.
My little sister gritted her teeth, and before I knew it, we were being arrested. I shouted several words I knew I shouldn't have, but, you know me, I couldn't stop myself.
I was forced to stare at the pair or the wall, so I chose the former, the smaller one, Isabel, within Lis' sights and Esperanza, the older one, within mine.
To make a long story short, we formed a Beyblade team, the Rage Beat. Lis has Belette, her marmalade-spitting weasel, Esperanza Ixion, her god of thunder, Isabel Stoat, her happy ermine, and me. . . . . I have my Suzaku, my fiery green Augury.
