Wandering endlessly through the streets,
Not knowing when you will next eat,
Glancing around at the passersby,
Not even receiving a friendly 'hi',
Cold stares pierce your skin,
You surely cannot win,
A life that is simply unfair,
Why should this isolation be yours to bear,
These people deserve everything that we have today,
Yet we cannot give them a simple 'hello' or 'hey',
How can people live so alone,
It is a matter that I cannot condone,
So get up and go out,
Don't frown or pout,
Give these people a smile,
For it will surely be remembered for a while,
Like a graceful dove,
Pour out all your love.
