The sun shines on gold
as well as silver and bronze,
but we place value.
Aren't they from the Earth;
the same as you and I are?
Still, we place value.
Don't be fooled by gold,
it may not be the purest,
though we place value.
Pure gold lies within
the Earth, our hearts, exhaled wind;
from that comes value!
