I'm usually a really calm person but, even I have to rant every once in a while, everyone does, and it wasn't just this name screw up, I've been really dissapointed in the Admins' decisions lately, first that M-vox thing, and now the filter?
Okay, ya, I know the Filter was an option, but they said they would never put a filter on Gaia, NEVER, so to me, I've lost alot of trust in the admins because of this, because it was a promise they've kept (until now) since the beggining of Gaia, so to me, thats one big lie, and like I said, I know its an option, but to me, thats just weaseling it like that so it doesn't seem so much like a lie, its like a half lie, and the fact that they weaseled it in just seems worse. And the m-Vox, I really don't like this, I know that they never said they wouldn't do that (not to my knowledge anyways) but it feels like they're selling out, I mean really, was this company the ONLY one that would let them do this? It's a communications device for the internet how many people on Gaia that donate would use that? I thought they could've come up with something better, really, I just think that the admins lately could've done these things better, I think they're not thinking right lately, I don't know why, but I just hope they don't go too far, I don't want to leave Gaia, but there are some things that "if the admins do such and such that will be the day I leave Gaia" these are those things:
- The day they make word filtering mandatory
- The day they charge money to be on Gaia
- The day they make cute little breedables as actually items (maybe)
- The day they re-release ANY donation items from 03 and early 04
- When Hazey (any of his forms) becomes a mod stare
- Other stuff I can't think of right now....

Well, it hardly seems surprising that they're not thinking, considering how much they put into the site, maintenance wise and then they have day jobs as well. xp
As for the items listed at the bottom, I comment on them.

The day that a savings account is installed, if ever, will be disastrous. Having the gold on hand teaches users of Gaia how important it is to manage money. Putting money in a savings account would do absolutely nothing helpful. [/ranting]
