Well....we got a new computer. It came in sometime in the beginning of February....We just hooked it up today. It took us...oh...I dunno. 2-3 hours? Of course...guess who was the one who was doing most of the work and leading the setup? If you guess me, then you're right. It's crazy, I know. My mom was doing most of the directions...I was putting stuff where it was supposed to go. It seemed that it went on forever...but in the end we did it in good time. I'm proud of myself. I can set up a computer in no time. Though...probably with some help here and there. Of course..in every set up there is a whiney little b***h who will understand nothing...and won't pay attention. That would be my father, unfortunately. I think he has NO computer knowledge whatsoever. =/ It's depressing. Even my MOM knows more than he does. =.='
After we got it set up, mom went on a quest to find a protection program on the internet off of Road Runner (Time Warner Cable). THAT TOOK LONGER. I THOUGHT I WAS GOING TO RIP MY HAIR OUT AND GO INSANE. >.< The only thing both of my parents DON'T have....is typing and reading skills. Not that well anyway. They type too slow, and they read too slow when it's on the computer. But...on this new WIDE screen...I don't blame them. This is going to be hard to get used to. .-.;;
But...now that I have bitched and moaned about the bad stuff...now I can tell you guys about the good stuff. :]
Dell. It's God. xDD It's an awesome product. I suppose it's better than the IBM we had. Fer Sure. Lol. I mean...we had that computer since I was in the first grade! Even though we made adjustments and upgrades. It was still a piece of s**t. xD
