A girl once said that she could rule the world. She said she could do anything. She fallowed all the rules. Not one dirty word escaped her lips. Always on time, always with the right people. Couldn't say a lie for her life.
Then she fell bellow the bar. Loosing her hard work in one instant in time. Over a period of weeks, she began to flicker softly, wavering from her once perfect self. Then she was introduced to the fire. It tasted bitter, bitting slowly away at her.
At first, the effect was subtle, for no one noticed she was playing with fire. It made her feel good, it made her feel older. She wanted to loose herslef in the flames. To make herself burn in that pleasurable heat.
She almost lost control.
Then it ended, due only to the fact that the begining of the flames where smuggled out.
As quickly as it came, it was all over. The girl struggles to return to her life. Even though she knows she will never get it. She may strive close, but the memory of her failure will always be there.
The girl will always struggle, for she yearns for the warmth and comfort of the red, hot fire.
The fire may be out, but the girl will always hold the matches to start it up again.
