A daily journal about stuff.

So yeah, I was pretty pissed last night when I found out the whole poll was rigged. I'd suspected it anyway, but now I know what a big, fat liar Chris is. And to think I stood up for him when Jon and Rico were mean to him. Well, I'm done being nice to people. It doesn't do any good. Needless to say, I saw something last night that made me smile. Laugh even. Well, today Stephanie came over. Yay! We went to eat lunch with my cousin Elisa. I got to see Molly and Max again, I was happy. We came home and messed around on the computer. Stephanie decided to make a poll in his guild, which asked if Kaz was a communist. It got like four votes yes before one of them came along and took it down, thus further proving that they are all communists. Well after that, Stephanie got the funny idea of making a bannar about Kaz's guild, saying how he's a communist. What's funny is, I'd told Kaz he was a communist just the other day, because of how he deletes anything in his guild that he opposes, especially if it's in favor of me. He doesn't allow free speech, he kicks me out of my governor job because he doesn't like me, and he makes only the people he likes governors. And then Stephanie comes over here and says the same thing, that Kaz is a communist, without me even mentioning what I'd said to her first. Everyone can see it. So here is our banner.

Let's see......I made a vote and told you otherwise......yep, I lied alrighty. Fact is though, elections are supposed to use a secret ballot. This is also a fact. Thing is, I never had any obligation to vote for you. Friendship is not the basis on which we place votes, but rather a feeling of competency. I know you from High School. Do I really need to say anymore? You never did act the most mature or responsible as far as I remember..........and Stephanie is on nearly equal footing, if not, a bit better than you, so that testimony is a bit........

Anyways, the real issue here is you not being able to take the negative outcome. You'd always go "Nooooooo!" when something didn't go your way then, and it seems to be a bit worse now. Slander does not fix things, and stuff like this may get you thrown out of the guild! The idea now is to figure out what you want to and can do in the guild. Having a hissy fit won't solve anything.

Besides, weren't you the one trying to get your mom in the guild for the sole purpose of voting? Really now.......besides, why does it mean so much to you if people clearly don't want you in power?

That's not being a communist, that's being a fascist.
And there's a BIG difference.

Penguin, you just made my day.

It would be facism, but the only things that have seen deletion in the Vanguardian Axis are the following:

1) A speech made during the early days of the guild. Vicki had mod powers, and abused them by deleting the views of another guild member. This is the only misuse we've had of powers to date.

2) Bad mouthing the guild inside the guild. I'm pretty sure any guild will make it a policy to put down such negativity. We don't want this. We just want a Sci-Fi RP. Is that so hard to understand?

Fascism would put down negativity, but this is a guild. Costs twenty freaking thousand gold. The cash paid to make it gives the Guild's owner right to take care of nonsensical grief. It's unecessary. We don't need it. It's up to you to be angry, and if you choose to be so, kindly keep it off Gaia. I'm rather certain those forum goers don't give a hoot about a guild they aren't in, and the people in the guild don't want to hear this negativity. Your cause is anger driven. No righteousness or justice at all.

Also, fascism would suggest oppression. We don't force people to RP. We don't ask people to RP. We'd LIKE people to RP, but it's totally up to them. We don't control what people say, we don't care if you spark an arguement, but if you don't like the guild, CLICK THE QUIT GUILD BUTTON! Easy solution. You say you like the guild but not the people? Same difference. One little button click will end it all. No more need to be angry. No more need to associate. No more need to do anything at all! Short and simple. It couldn't be any easier.

And to clear up any misconceptions, let's review. We don't care if you argue, we don't care if you RP (It would be nice, but not mandatory), we don't care what in particular you discuss with other people, we don't care if you donate or not, and if I'm not mistaken, we've never had to throw anybody out of the guild. It's up to you to decide what to do, but the way I see it, only a few options are open.

1) Become a guild member no longer bearing the title of governor. You'll find we're the same as them. The title is just a formality for occupational purpose.

2) Quit the guild. If you hate things that much, this is a simple answer.

Any other answer is just a decision to be angry..........just remember, being angry IS a choice. Hard to enjoy life that way.
