I just stood there existing, and as much as I screamed, I wasn't heard.
And as I fell, you didn't let out a single word.
Then you tried to help me, but nothing felt solid, nothing was real.
So, I fell and fell, and you couldn't help.
I stared up into the sky, and then thought about all of those lies.
"Why is everything hitting so hard now? Why can't I get over it?"
It's been years since we've murmured a single word to one another.
It's like a cold war that will never let warmness resurface.
The years have passed as the cherry blossoms fall.
I grabbed one and then stuck it on 'our' wall.
But it has long since been tattered and torn.
You have ripped my heart out, and thrown it on the floor.
