That's a scary thought. Been looking at a lot of threads where people say they were banned for no reason some are complete garbage as many have proudly admitted to what they they did obviously against the ToS and others unless I was on the other side of that I can't say anything to them. This is what I do know though;
The flood filter does say things like woah slow down no one can type that fast, etc. meaning the system is taking your post or comment to be a post generated by a spam bot or something. e_e Flood control is definitly necessary but for people who actually know how to type and fast our words shouldn't be mistaken for spam which leads to believe if players have too much time on their hands and do things like fish or float around Gaia earning gold for an item that has a price range in the millions will they be mistaken for botters no questions asked? I've seen complaints about this but I see those people continue to invest time and money in the game which is something I don't think I could do if I was wrongfully banned. sweatdrop I just find those kind of threads disturbing. I know one thing in the ToS anyone can get banned for is page refreshing. That is a new one on me and to be honest I found it kind of weird. Ugh. I have so many questions I wish they had mods and especially admin dedicated to answering user questions only, so the other admins and mods can go about taking care of site issues while the ones for questions are busy with us.... Then again some say the best way to learn is by doing and by doing you gain experience which gives knowledge so maybe things should stay the way they are since I REALLY don't want to run into an administrator or moderator that has less experience with Gaia than your typical newbie to the game. In any case I think I'm going to find an ask the amdim or mod thread that's still active and see what they say about stuff like this.

Okay my search turned up nothing as the word "ban" could not be searched not being a four letter word... oh man that can be taken in a wrong way, but anyway.
Made a post in the Questions forum and before page could load for me after I posted another player and a mod had responded then another as I was thanking the first. eek I thought at the most a mod would respond after a some weeks had past if they even saw or even had the chance to. XD
In any case I'm excited about tomorrow as I can start my quest for a fishing trophy. whee I just hope I don't loose my spot on the board. I don't care if I'm knocked back to to 49.... or even to 50 as long as I'm there when the month is over PST of course. :3nod. So, for now I'm just cruising the forums wasting time. :p Though I doubt I'll be on here the second the new competition starts. gonk Maybe I should try... but that might prove unhealthy in the long run., but I think my fish obsession has already gotten to me so maybe I will and maybe I won't we'll see, but I'm not pressed. Really should figure out a good strategy for my fishing style so I can get where I want to be and hold it. 3nodding
