It was worse than I thought- Dragon couldn't even keep his eyes open while I explained the mission to him, but I let him come on any way. Probably a mistake as I couldn't let him just lay down and take a nap especially not in the environment we were in! So I ended up carrying him on my back. It's not like I never had to before and with him being so light I didn't mind one bit except for the clawing. When he woke up and realized I had him draped across my back he sunk his claws into me and went back to sleep. Needless to say that hurt like nothing else and I couldn't get him to let go until he half woke up again. What's even worse this isn't the first time this has happened. I can't believe I had forgotten that horrible pain! mad
