Okay, I am SO getting a one story house when I am rich and can design it myself. There will be no attics, there will be no basements, there will be a comfortable minimum of mirrors. So it is written, so it shall be done.
*sigh* I'm a coward. I can't even do laundry in the basement alone without getting creeped out. "Then why don't you stop writing horror?" you may ask. Well, I could try. But I tell you, as example, that as I was writing the best romance novel ever it would happen. I wouldn't be able to help it. Prince Charming would be bending the pretty princess back for a kiss and BOF! there would be zombies trying to eat him. No rhyme, no reason, just a sudden need for zombies. Horror is what I love. I just wish it were easier for me to be in my own damn basement.
