I'm the leader of the Schiff. I encouraged the Schiff to leave the lab for the sake of hope. We are soldiers created by a group of scientists led by Boris using Diva's blood, under the sponsorship of Amshel Goldsmith. Slaves at first, we were trained only for fighting, we mostly know no other way of living or of getting what we want except by force. Like Chevaliers and Chiroptera, we Schiff have enhanced speed and strength, and must drink blood to survive. However we are different in two key ways: sunlight will burn us to death, and we suffer from a condition called "Thorn" that causes us to slowly crystallize. It initialy manifests itself as red cracks that usually appear on the neck, spreading along the body until the infected one shatters completely. Due to the parting words of one the scientists from the lab, we believed that we were created from Saya's blood, and so her blood would save us from our destined short life spans. After attacking Saya and Haji, Guy drinks Haji's blood, killing him almost instantly. Later we try again with Saya's blood, but it causes Irene to die instantly. Finally realizing that the scientist lied and that it is Diva's blood required to live and devote ourselves to hunting Diva down.
