Smoking is bad for you, children, and smoking may result in cancer, black lung, and death, and commonly known treatments use large tubes to be shoved down the esophagus and suck out some of the black deposits that have collected down there because you were too unwilled to say "no." This journal is designed to scare you to not smoke. If you have any other side-effects of smoking, or any way to scare people from ever smoking, please post below. 	Some people do look good while they smoke, though. It completes their image, and that image can look pretty good, if it's done right. Besides, I've heard it's great for relaxing, like after you've just had sex, or just enjoying a beautiful day with a cup of coffee and a cigarette. It can make a relaxing, happy moment even better. The smoke becomes your friend and the motion of your hand to your mouth gets to be comforting, and if everything else in your life sucks it might become one of the last things that still feels good. So long as you have a bit of money and the ID (or the place that won't check it) it can be a much more reliable source of comfort than many other things in life. I don't smoke. I'm just saying I can understand why some people do, even if they know exactly what it might do to their bodies. I mean, there's also the fact that they may be addicted, but that certainly isn't the only reason. This perspective brought to you by: The College Experience Inc. 	How I feel about smoking: I just hate walking through the mall or into a restraunt and being greeted by smokers outside that won't go away. I don't particularly hate the people smoking, it is just where they choose to smoke. I don't like the smell of nicotine, nor the sight of people inhaling through a piece of paper from a filthy garden weed on fire. If you are going to smoke, please do it where no one can smell the awful fumes that you decide to plague on society. To make matters worse, you people are either too lazy, or hate the smell of nicotine yourself and drop the cigarette on the side of the road where it could stumble into a field of dry grass where it will instantly catch fire, burning acres of farmland/property, causing millions of dollars of damage that these underpaid farmers have to pay for all because you where too lazy to use the ashtray that was put in front of you purposely in arm's reach to put the cigarette into in the first place. If you smoke because you need to relax, you people need to find a better way to cool off after a stressful day, or take that well deserved vacation. If you are smoking because it's "cool," then I look forward to seeing you in a hospital breathing through a respirator.
