This poem is a attempt to set a romantic, calming feel for its reader, whether or not I convey that feeling is something I do not know. This is also my 2nd attempt at a romantic poem, my other one I dare not post XD
Sunset Walk.
In the brisk August evening,
You and I walk together
Down this path,
And I wonder if I am dreaming.
We walk side by side,
Arm in arm,
Hand in hand,
Down this path.
The sun sets and casts a lovely orange light
Across this path.
The air starts to cool,
And the first stars start to show,
And twinkle amongst the heavens.
In this brisk August evening,
You and I walk together.
Side by side,
Arm in arm,
Hand in hand,
And I realize,
I am not dreaming.
