Well, this is a poem I wrote today, it's something that we all ask in life, and we sometimes ask it quite often.
What if?
Throughout life
There are many what ifs.
Throughout strife,
There are many what ifs.
What if I left,
Would you follow?
What if I became lost,
Would you help me find my way?
What if I became isolated,
Would you try to reach me?
What if I built up a wall,
Would you tear it down to get to me?
What if I hurt you,
Would you leave?
What if I was hurt,
Would you try to console me?
What if I became confused,
Would you help me with the puzzle?
The answers to these questions never come easy,
But who said the what ifs
Could be answered just as easily
As they could be asked.
