I wonder what it’s all about
I hear distant chattering
I see far off strange faces
I want to reach out and touch this wonder
I am observant and quiet

I pretend that I’ve seen the world
I feel as if I’ve seen nothing
I touch the beauty that is nature
I worry I will not see it all
I cry for there is no one who sees as I do
I am observant and quiet

I understand that the world is not perfect
I say “What a beautiful place!”
I dream that I will gaze upon all of God’s nature
I try to take it all in
I hope that the world will see as I do
