Back when I started on Gaia, I normally frequented the Music Forum, because I love music more than pretty much everything. It's been part of me since as far back as I can remember. It runs in my family. Mom and dad were in bands. Grandma was a lounge singer. Sister's in band, I'm an aspiring singer-songwriter. So I figured that the Music Forum was the place to be to discuss the music I love.

After a while, though, topics on the forum became very. very. very. very. mundane.
A lot of this:

"so i herd u liek evanescence"
"OMG I LUV VANESSA HUDGENS!!!"
"Escape The Fate Rocks!!"
"FOB sux"
"hoo lieks paris hilton??"

A lot of this, no one using the official threads.

Whereas with the GD you get a lot of this:
"I got the GD pregnant."
"I GOT RUN OVER BY A SHOPPING CART"
"LOLNAMEDROP"
"SLA is a flaming f*****t"
"lol whore. [pix]"

So while the content in the GD is pretty immature itself, often times, you never see the same topics twice. Unless they're namedrops.

So yeah.
