August 25, 1965
I am a deep sleeper, I suppose that as a result it is no surprise when
Hubris awoke me this morning and I found a strange man unconcious on
the floor. My brother has always been the stronger sibling and he takes
after our father in that aspect. It is unerving that our subsequent
arrival in London has resulted already in attempted murder. However I
should take some comfort in knowing that the attempt also means we are
close to finding him.
We made our way to Council Headquarters where we located Angelo Bridgestaff at current heading the district. Bridgestaff had encountered our father as soon as he settled in London, very few words had been exchanged between the two. On his arrival he had merely confided his anticipation of meeting an old friend, an encounter which he neither regarded as good nor detrimental. We left soon after to return to the inn and I was given time to prepare and hunt through the possesions of our would be assassin, a prospect which I did not look forward to.
