So this poem is random. or is it? Anyways, regardless on what you (the reader) think, it's kind of depressing. So if you don't like depressing things, don't read it. But if you do, comment, please.
I let myself go
Let emotions fall
I can't love you anymore
Just go away
If I were braver, it might be different
But I'm a coward
My heart instinctively shying away from such emotions
Help was never offered, no one could.
Find someone worthy of you
Someone who can return affection with smiles
Gifts with kisses
Who doesn't retreat inside herself at any mention
Of those words most people welcome
"I love you"
I wanted that
I really did
But I can't anymore
Leave me be until I heal
Until I realize my folly
If I ever do
But the question is
Do you really love me?
Is it my friends trying to help
Or my mind playing tricks on me?
I still fall for the same damn thing over and over again
Stop making my heart ache
Leave me be
Let me retreat inside myself
Please?
No, that's not right
That's not what I want
I want someone who can be there for me when I need it
Is that you?
Can I truly love again?
When she embraces you
Your heart turns to stone
She comes at night
