The Better Mouse Trap
A tripute to all poems, songs, and other types of the Arts
Knowing and doing, two of the same.
My parents always told me, "Knowing something and doing something are two very different things." Well I, for one, disagree. You have to know something to do it. You can't shoot someone if you don't know how to use a firearm. I believe I've been lied to for a very long time. Does anyone agree...

My dad always told me "hearing and listening aren't the same things" and he's right. hmmm... oh, and we alays had to you "may i" when we were asking for permission.

i think that knowing something and doing something are usually seperate. Like, you can know how to write an A grade story, but if your handwriting is terrible you'll probably get a B.

i think i didn't say what i ment to say. People are always lying to others, even if they don't know it at the time. I know my mom lies to me a lot.

I think there's plenty of people doing things that they have never done before so they don't know how to do them. I don't know how to shoot a firearm, but if I had one and I was about to be mugged, I think I would use it. But I think the quote is more aimed for the other way around... there's a lot of people who know that smoking is bad for them, but they do it anyway. But that's just my 2 cents.
