Alone

I sit in the cold basement and cry.
They don't understand me, they don't even try.
I think of all the pain and strife.
But, it's not enough to take my life.
I look in the mirror and talk to me.
There is nothing but lonliness that I see.
"Why can't I be loved?" I scream and shout.
I only look for another way out.
I continue to sit and stare at the wall above.
And wait for the day that I recieve some love.
Alone is all I am today.
I wish that this feeling would go away.
