I think I actually am going to color it (which is a massive pain b/c it's on the crappy "sketch" paper). SKETCH PAPER MY FOOT! It's terrible! And it doesn't erase at ALL. Which is why I gotta start over on one of my pretties, the one I have to finish the earliest!! crying
Okay, part of the job of a choir officer is to keep the littlies under control, quiet, give them hints and advice, tell them what they're doing well and badly, and ORGANIZE so Castillo doesn't have to! WELL. I'm really bad at the whole leadership thing, so I only help a little, especially since Charlotte and Paz and Meagan are so much better at it. Well, when I DO try to help, when I try to get everyone organized, I get told off! WTF?! We were going to practice a song that has TWO DISTINCT sets of words going on at the same time, and some genius junior told everyone to get into their parts, then immediately was like "i'm a soprano 2" Well, you can't just say that for this song! There's no marked parts like that! Everyone was getting confused, Monique was yelling at everyone, and then it hit me: one of the officers needs to step in and get this thing ORGANIZED. So, I did. After FINALLY getting Mo to stop for a second, I started getting everyone organized, and everyone was actually quiet and listening to me FOR ONCE. It was going good until little BRAT child who thinks she's all that b/c she's playing the ******** song tells me it doesn't matter b/c we won't be standing by our parts for the concert anyway! I was so mad, especially since the other officers went along with that.
FIRST OF ALL, some bitchy little junior does NOT have the right to just burst in and cut me off at the knees. No one has listened to me ALL YEAR. Castillo freaking IGNORES when I try to say something, but she makes everyone shut up for the other officers. But I'm just the librarian. I'm not important, even when what I've got to say is really important! And now, just when people were actually listening and following sensical instructions, I get told that I'm basically doing something stupid and that I need to stop talking. I wanted to walk out of the room, I was so upset. But I can't look like a drama queen, even though I needed to cool off a little. GAGH. I'm so sick of being ignored. I wish I could quit. I would, I really would. But I'm the librarian, so I can't, but that means NOTHING to anyone! Charlotte is so freaking PATRONIZING towards me, like I'm just an annoying CHILD.
I am NOT a child, so why doesn't anyone ever listen to me? Why am I just ignored? am I so worthless that no one cares?
