Okay, so I trust you people have heard of "The Golden Compass" trilogy, right?
Well, I'm Catholic, and go to a Catholic school.
I checked the first book out, from our library, and my idiotic teacher goes, "LiEk, ZoMg! ThAt'S a BaD bOoK!"
So I'm like, "Dude, if it's so bad, why's it in the school library?"
He says that the book is out to kill God. Which is true, but...
1) It's a fictional book with other worlds, their God might be different, and
2) It's just a book!!! Get a life, and stop annoying me!
Sheesh...whatta fool. Then, he thinks he has the right to condemn my bisexual friend to Hell.
I was a millimeter close to saying, "YOU'D sooner go to Hell than her."
And then he gives me a Catholic phamplet.
