Today was laundry day. My girl spent the morning at the laundromat. Hard work. Now we're over our sons' apartment trying to help them get their s**t together. They are in low-income housing and have to submit to regular inspections. Unfortunately, they have 5 people in a two-bedroom apartment, 3 of which are 18 and under. Needless to say, it looks like 5 kids live unsupervised in this place. We came over last weekend with cleaning supplies out the wahzoo. Told them that was their Xmas present. We are stretched tight this year let me tell you. I'm just glad that we have enough for rent, utilities and car payment/insurance. Sucks being an adult. Anyway, I want to make our Xmas presents this year by writing poetry and making cards. Don't know how they'll be received, but like they say, it's the thought that counts. Heh.
Tomorrow we're going to have pictures taken with our sons. Those we'll be handing out as presents as well.
