Love, or Some Damn Thing
[Not sure at all about the chord progression (I'm sounding it out in my head, without my guitar), but I know every line should be progressively more staccato, with heavier and heavier emphasis, then really light (like a non-legato or something) on the last line of every stanza].
(C) It's more than a whim (C7) It's more than a fling
(G) Your chest starts to ache, your music takes wing
(A) It makes your knees shake (B7) It makes your heart sing
(F) It's got to be love, or some damn thing (E A C?)
[Edited chord progression, now that I've had a chance to hear it:]
You think that it is, but maybe it's not
Your mind is ensnared, your heart has been caught
With your feelings bared, you've only one thought:
(E) "This must be love, and (E7) all that rot." (E A A-minor C)
[Re-edited chord progression, because the last edit sounded too much like "Don't get me Started:]
(C) Buckle up tight, (Amin) hold onto your hat,
(Fmin6) It's your big chance, (G) you're up at bat
(D) So get up and dance, (G) you'll knock 'em down flat,
(A) Cuz it's probably love, or (D A D) something like that.
[I'm still not satisfied. I need to write more verses so I can keep messing around]
E----0-1-2-3-C Chord
