I was going to put this on a thread, but I felt it was too offensive to some people. So I'll put it here.

Why hate Bush? Oh, there are many reasons to hate Bush. Frankly, I dislike him because he's a Republican. Now, I hate politics all together, but I feel myself on the verge of becoming Democrat. Luckily, I'm only 16 so I sitll have 2 more years to ponder the situation. I know that political status is a stupid reason to hate Bush, but sadly, that's what it's come to in my case.

In any case, there are many more reasons I hate Bush, right down to the way he speaks. But like most people who've posted in this thread, I dislike him because of the war. Yes, I understand that 911 was a dramatic event that needed to be taken care of. But the problem we were trying to solve has obviously changed into a different objective. So many things went war. For instance...

Our troops are still in Iraq. Bush promised that everything was going to be ok, but how can you explain what was on the news last night, when Iraqi officers were entered in the hospital at critical condition because of suicide bombers? I saw the footage: it was none too pretty. One man had casts on both his hands, his legs, and gauze wrapped around his head. So how is everything 'ok' when men are still dying out there?

Then there's the obvious speculation that Bush is there just for oil. I won't get into that, it's been beat in the bush too much (lol, play on words). Because of Bush, our gas and oil raised in price, our taxes are heavier, and our insurances have gone screwy.

Have I mentioned we haven't found any WMD? But that's OK, because Bush says so. <_<

Last but not least, we still are not safe. Bush is so concerned with what's happening over seas, that he's not stopping to take a look over here. I'll start with the schools. Does everyone like Bush's "No Child Left Behind Act" as much as *I* do? Because it sucks. Apparently, putting all the children in one generic class, lengthening the day or class periods, and making all children take final exams, CIM tasks, and state testing is going to some how increase the success rate of our students. Let me tell you, it's not improving anything. If a student wants to fail, he'll fail. If a student doesn't care about the class or activity, they won't try, regardless on how this makes the school look. Oh, and putting a child who wants to learn with the others isn't going to make everyone try harder. If anything, the 'over-achiever' will just get beat up. Yay.

And so besides this, people still have trouble finding jobs, people are starving and homeless, the crime rate is high, and regardless of no child left behind, children are still being deprived. Not that it really matters, according to Bush, as long as we look good. biggrin Oh, and forget about equal rights for gays and lesbians, because even though it IS constitutional (you know, the part that says "all men are equal" wink , it just isn't right in his eyes.

In short, America is a land that is being lead by a moron. It give birth to more morons, and until anyone realizes that, you know, half the stuff Bush does in the first place is WRONG and he gets impeached, nothing is going to improve.

Maybe I'm just bitter because this war is the reason my cousin died a year ago. I don't know. But the sooner Bush is out, the better, if you ask me.
