Part 5: I will not Run

I made a decision and I was not about to go back on my plans. I did not tell Hisoka what I had planned, I wanted it to be that way. I walked over to door and looked out, I decided to speak with Muraki on my own terms.

I walked into the real world and right up to Tokyo General, I saw Muraki who was smiling at me. "I see you decided to come after all." He walked me into a room and I turned around, Koda was growling as I stood there.

"You will tell me what you want, Muraki? I will not do something that will make other's suffer." I glared at him and stared at Muraki's eye.

"I see, you feel that you are justified by what you have said to me? I will tell you that you are justified with your concern. But I have a life I need to save, one that needs your expertise. If you are willing to do this one favor, I will not hinder you anymore."

What did I bring myself into? I started to walk toward him, I blinked at him and said softly. "Alright."

I don't know if I believed him, I walked into a room and found a child who was on a heart moniter, he was dead anyway. I blinked and stared at the child, his eyes were open, but something about it did not seem right. "The boy died just a moment ago, I know a nurse here is a murderer, I caught him, but no one will do anything about it, just bring the boy back."

He's the murderer, I could feel Koda telling me and I touched the child and suddenly the heart started up again. I held the boy and he was crying into my shoulder. I stared at Muraki who was smiling. "I knew it, you are a powerful, you just simply touch the person and they live again."

I backed into a corner and whisperd. "You kill children? How could you? You took an oath to save lives and not take them. You are like Dr. Mangele!" I dashed from the room holding the boy who was staring up at me dazed, but his eyes closed tightly. "I'll take you to your mother."

I ran through the hospital and found that none of the nurse's were even noticing me. I noticed then Tatsumi running toward me. "I told you not to go, Cally, listen to me, you can't handle this alone."

I nodded, but in truth, I hated it, I wanted to handle this alone. I ran with him toward the exit, he looked over his shoulder and looked down at the boy. "This boy is alive? Good."

"I brought him back, I just touched him and he started to move again."

"I see, that means we have a problem, that boy is not to die yet, that's the catch to your powers. It means that you are limited to who you bring back. So Muraki's will not work."

"I think so," I smiled and held the boy close and found a woman who looked up.

"Hiko!" She ran up to me and handed the boy to her. "Who are you?"

"Just a concernedperson, please take this boy home." I smiled at her and then vanished into the Ministry of Hades.
