12:01 PM It has been a long while since I updated my journal. But last night was too good to forget!
Last night I had a wonderful dream; part nightmare, part dream,a ll adventure.
The first dream started out with me designing one of the best animations on Earth! IT WAS FABULOUS! It was all done, like, in a future setting- where you could do everything with your mind, where you actually went into your scenes and figured things out.
My whole animationw as a story animation- twas odd at some parts, cool in others. It was a "Point a to point b" animation, where the audience, in first person perspective, would traverse down this "mase-like" tunnel system. It was pretty linear, the tunnel would go only one way except for specific times where it would branch off into two. Of course, these branching offs only involved people having to deal with bosses. First boss was an aquatic Godzilla like monster that the players had to watch and deal with; if they chose that path that is. The next boss was an octopus like the Kraken, that would capture the camera(player) and must be overcome and destroyed. The 3rd boss was this huge band of fish monsters (like World of Warcraft's Murlocs except better/cooler).
I was being tested on all of this to make a good Animation and game thing sortof whatever- I had to go back and redo things like adjust camera angles and fix lighting, as in some places, going down this sewer/tunnel system had lights on that ruined the "spooky" effect.
That was half of my dream; it was awesome, it was cool, it was enjoyable.
Second part of the dream involved me being a "chosen one" type dream. I was part-human, part raptor I believe, if not all raptor. I was on Lake Lanier (back when we had a shitload more water). I guess the setting was more post-apocalyptic; as there were raptor clans I had to help fight off- I had to protect my family (but especially my little dog who couldn't fight if her life depended on it); there were government agents who were sent to try and destroy me or capture me, raptor clans who hated me, and sea monsters that kept me from getting into the water.
It was fun, it was twisted biggrin Everyone came at us in boats as we tried to get away- if someone boarded, I would throw them off (apparently, I wasn't the most skilled fighter. sweatdrop Go figure). I seemed to only be able to communicate with enemies through hissing and gurgling and my own raptor language, while I could talk semi-normal with my family. Twas odd- Even more so when the raptor clans themselves could speak english.
Eventually the story has a twist in it where I must now join with the raptor clans and stop the evil which is plaguing the Earth. Zombies and goblins are roaming the islands of Lake Lanier, the water is full of the dead (but they are still very much alive, if you know what I mean), things are being warped into new things...it was nuts. SO I joined up with an elite band- to tell you the truth, I believe this band was based off the Guerrillas in One Piece during the Cloud City arc. I say this because one of them was, like, the leader- tough as nails; the rest were the special ops kind, the kind that were the highest in the raptor clan, and then there was me. What sucked was that I still could only talk to them through hisses and clicks and my own language- and it wasn't a very good communication skill as they couldn't understand me until I did a sort of "charades" thing.
What's more was that even though I was the chosen one, apparently the raptor clans had "models" of themselves where one of them was the latest model of raptors (and he wasn't even the leader). I tried to talk to him, discussing about his superior and advanced model number- but roars and hisses only get so far, especially when you screech and it makes it sound like you're all under attack, and everyone jumps to attention sweatdrop
When I finally charade out what I wanted to with the better version, and got the bastards attention, he told me not to think ill of myself. Just because he was a higher model didn't make him better. There might even be things I could do that he couldn't. He also told me it was fascinating how I communicate, as the way I do- I have my own language, and it said that it was commonly seen in younger generations to do that. Since I was older, I guess I was unique (that is NOT how I wanted to be unique! sweatdrop blaugh ). Well we got to a target island, full of goblins that had been twisted by he evil...Oi... We leapt off our boat and onto the beach where we slashed and clawed and killed many goblins. When our job was complete there, we got back on our boat- thankfully there were no casualties...this would soon change.
We were supposed to scout out an island, it was said that ancient raptor relics had been found there; relics of our ancestors that could help us fight off this scourge. Well, when we got there, it was weird- several of my comrades turned into merfolk/mermaid-like things and hopped intot he water, swimming with these long, many finned tails. They got onto the land and began to search, still in these forms...When one of them suddenly got swallowed up by the land!
Then another one got swallowed, and another was going to be swallowed but I wasn't about to stand for it and I grabbed his hand and pulled him up and out- of the Land's mouth!! Unfortunately, when I got him out, he fell trap to another mouth- how many effing mouths does this island have!? I know that shouldn't have been the real questio- the real question(s) would've been "Is this an island" and/or "How the hell does an island have mouths!?" We decided to leave that place, unfortunately one of our comrades was left behind. I used a power, however, that no one else had seen and was able to teleport myself to our comrade, grab him, then teleport us back to the ship. So I did have one cool and unique thing over my "superiors" razz When we scrambled back onto the ship, sad that we lost comrades but must continue, and angry that therwe were no treasures, we navigated to another island where supposedly one of the dark "ninjas" who was channeling this evil was located.
A big fight came into be- and sadly the enemy proved too powerful!! Wtf! But instead of my comrades dying, they were instead turned against me and possessed by the darkness! I escaped, not wanting to fight, and found my way back to my original boat with my family. It became my goal to find and stop my fallen comrades in any way I could. I eventually went back, prepared to fight my once chosen allies. I killed 3 of them, gaining experience (and leveling up- wtf??). It was then that I discovered I had an ability that couldn't have been used before- A cleansing ability. It could only be done in the water, which was bad since many souls of the dead/sludge undead lived there. I lured several of my old comrades into the water and launched a white ball into lake. The ball shattered, like glass on a floor, and the water began to turn white around the location. It grew and grew as my old allies got closer and one began to strangle me! As the white solution hit them, their bodies began to change back and their grey/dead toned skin became spotted as it tried to take hold. I began to count to 5- because I guess thats when the thing would be done. 1...2... the undead were all over, pulling me down into the water...3....4...I began to blank out from suffocation and my head about to disappear into the murky depths.......5..... I was pulled back to the surface by one of the two comrades I saved! The undead around me had vanished or retreated back to the safety of the non-white water. I had the power now! I could save the remainder of my friends- I could save my captain! We could still win!
As we were heading back to the boat to resupply and re-figure a strategy, the dream ended. It was a good time then any I guess...
But man, that was one helluva dream biggrin
