Spending my days off doing what I like is always a wonderful thing. Staying up til 5:00Am talking with an old friend I haven't been as close to as I'd like. Guess we all have some of those. Trying to make it up to her, dunno if I'm doing well or not. She seems to enjoy my company, and we talk so ******** much, unless she's a masochist, she's getting off on it in some way. Validating, somehow. Somone really does value my company, and maybe not just because they have nothing better to do, or no one better to talk to. Not saying my other friends make me feel this way, but.. I wonder sometimes if I'm just filling a gap in their lives by being there. We always have fun, don't get me wrong. I just haven't felt as fulfilled by spending time with them as of late. Not taxed in any way.
Having somone there who you both push against each other, a kind of visceral, intellectual dry hump that stimulates you both to new heights of insanity and witticism. Pure fun, unadulterated, and with very little alterior motive. Not just being there to sap the other person, or drain out your frustrations. Mutual hatred of pretty much everything humanity-related. Same ******** up families from a different perspective. Somone who understands the bent appeal in remaining on this site, and being a moderator. Looking after you ******** like angry older siblings who've spent time abroad, and come home to see how stupid you really are. Another grunt who's slogged through the mud and s**t-ticks of life, and come up with a less than rosy picture. Who's seen the same combat, no matter how different it was.
It's a kind of fulfillment I've been seeking for a while. something I have a deficiency of, and will hopefully be able to enjoy in abundance over the 4 days of the convention. I doubt the converstion will ever flow to a dry stop. We seem to spurt forth rivers, torrents, floods of topics and rants and tangents and stories and factoids, rumors, mischief, and almost base level flirtation with no intent other than perhaps boosting what little self-esteem we both have.
Not saying that I'm a real flirty guy, it's just a guy-thing. We can't help but flirt, be palyful. Especially with girlflesh, boobies, all that. Everything is so low-level, instinctual and integrated that it can't be helped. It's when you uncounciously (or even conciously in improper conditions) move on to a higher level of flirtation and c**k-offering is when it becomes a problem.
Oh, and by the way, most women are offered c**k EVERY SINGLE DAY, since they were 15, sometimes younger. A lot of women just don't notice. Men are not exactly shy about the c**k offers. "Can I get that door for you? (would you like some d**k, too?)". "Wow, you look good today! (You'd look better with some c**k.)" Maybe we can do something later, just the two of us. (You, me and my c**k.)" "You've got a great personality. (Your personality needs some c**k.)" Seriosuly.. Guys are bastards. Sometimes, we just don't even know it. So, maybe it's not that you're unatractive, it's that you're not paying enough damn attention, or you're catching all the c**k offers, and they're just from really skeezy guys like me. I mean, Skanky male mods cannot control it, they just try to be slick about it, and get in LESS trouble that way. We don't always succeed.
