Today is Thanksgiving Day in the USA.
The colonists that survived the previous year were supposedly thankful for getting through it and a harvest and gave thanks around this time of year. The history is a bit muddled, but the sentiment is a nice one smile

We got a dusting of snow last night and it did not melt yet. It looks nice smile
Even though life is not always easy, this Thanksgiving I have much to be thankful for:

The snow, which is beautiful
Another year of life that I have enjoyed
The loved ones that I cherish
The opportunity to learn and grow and share for one more cycle of the seasons

I think that sometimes we legitimately have problems (some that are very difficult or almost impossible to reconcile in our minds or even have no little or no hope of solving), but there is always a wonder or two that we can stop and be thankful for.

In the human heart, hope is the greatest wonder of them all.
Even the snow on the ground points to the hope of a far off Spring.
