It's almost thanksgiving!! The day I stuff my face with as much food as possible. I'm going to my cousins house this year. My mom's half sister and her son are here this year. We're gonna have all these spanish and american dishes. Since most of my alive family is spanish. My gramma makes the BEST food in the world. Our family will usually stuff our faces and all the family under 25 years old will play cards. I love playing speed, and poker, and blackjack, and B.S. and all that card games. While Grownups will chat and listen to classical music. Thanksgiving is the biggest get-to-gether of the year for our family. All this family is on my mom's side so she's usually to busy introducing one of us (the poor sacrificial kid) to notice us betting big money in poker. >: D
I'm also doing this thing called the Dickens Fair. In cow palace. It's when the workers dress up and pretend it's 18th century England. We put hay all over the floor. We also make little "shops": open-ish structure of a shop with windows with no glass inside of them that's well furnished like 18th century England. All the workers do whatever they can do to be 18th century English. Accents, clothes, atmosphere, events, everything. I was dazzled the first time I went to it. SO, now I'm working in the Telegram booth. No Cellphones allowed inside so I run around delivering messages to people.
