A chiseling sound could be heard throughout the forest. A sound that sounded much like metal against wood. This is what the sound accually was because a boy only 18 years of age was chiseling a small symbol into the bark of a tall tree.
This boy's name was Tsuroyu. Tsuroyu was about 5'6", dark blue hair with black tips, dark blue eyes that were so deep you could get lost in them, his skin was lightly tanned from long days of training his alchemic skills in the beating sun trying to make things that gave off shade and coolness. He was wearing a light blue tunic and pants. His feet were covered with cloth black shoes.
"Done", tsuroyu exclaimed.
He placed his hands on the circle and it started to light up. The tree started to glow and change shape. When it settled down the tree was no longer a tree, but a small boat.
Tsuroyu smiled and lifted up the boat over his head. He started to walk toward the lake with a satified smile on his face. He stumbled over a root and dropped the boat. As it hit the ground it broke in two and Tsuroyu lost the satisfied look and it turned into a VERY unsatified one. He took a stick and started to make another circle around the broken boat. When finished he put his hands on the circle and it began to light up and the boat glowed also. When the smoke cleared the boat was back into one peice again and he was very happy
"Alright", he said smiling
He soon got to the lake and set the boat down in it. He then spotted a girl with straight dark hair, brown eyes, about 5'3" dancing on the other side of the river. She was humming a merry tune and dancing very nicely to it. Tsuroyu sat in his boat.
"I shouldn't bother her", he said softly.
The girl turned around instantly and noticed someone watching her "private" dance.
"Hello", she said blushing," How long have you been standing there?"
"Long enough", tsuroyu said with a chuckle,"your not bad, where did you learn to dance like that?"
"My mother taught me", she said
"Wanna join me?", tsuroyu said pointing at the boat.
"No thank you, im not really much of a boating person", she said with a light giggle
"I can teach you", tsuroyu said,"dont be afraid".
"Im not afraid", she yelled as she jumped from rock to rock through the lake to the other side where the boat rested.
"I see", Tsuroyu said,"I bet you've never went boating with an alchemist"
Tsuroyu grinned.
