Another contest entry. I consider this my best work to date in many ways. Yet precisely because I like it so much, I feel very depressed about it. Can't help but feel like that when your best isn't good enough, you know? I realize art contests should be fun, and I DID enjoy working on this picture a lot. But once I'm finished with the picture, it's hell.
So yeah, wish me luck. gonk The winners will be announced in ten days or so...

Someone asked if I allow critiques on the art I post in the journal. Critiques are fine, but chances are they're not going to help me much unless you provide paintover/ drawover. I suck at translating words into visuals. I always have a hard time understanding verbal critiques sweatdrop
