Its odd, I fell asleep with dreams of hope, I awake to stark reality and read words meant for someone thats not me. I laid out my feelings and opened myself up, it is and was never enough. I am at a loss as to what to say or do anymore. I guess time will show me the way I am supposed to turn. Anyways the sun is up and life moves forward , with a new reality to hit me in the face around each corner. Being too young is a drag, being too old must be worse, although I really wish I was older. As I sit here, I see this pretty girl coming across the street, shes smiling and calling my name. I guess its a nice day after all, maybe this is where I really do belong, instead of wishing on a dream, that seems to want a different dream thats not me. Friendship is all I can be sure of, in my heart I dream of more but friendship is better then love in many ways, so friends are what we will remain forever and a day. So now I smile and say hey life was never meant to be easy, but why does it have to be so damn hard. So here I go, keeping a roll of duct tape handy in case smile , come on life show me whats waiting around the next corner. eek I cross my fingers , whisper a small prayer, paste a smile upon my face and take the first step into the rest of my life ninja
