...we won't hear a word they say, they don't know us anyway...
This song was stuck in my head since my outing in China. It was the best vacation evah!! (fine. 'ever!' ) And the forgetful geek that I am, I wrote down what struck me the most about China with its customs and culture...etc.
† Poverty hardly seen...
† ginko trees! maple trees!
† people bike more than drive (in Shanghai at least)
† roads are a lot smoother and wider (traffic only when rush hour)
† sailor suit -- school uniform (T crying T...I want one...)
† all policemen and officers are in formal military high class uniforms (from my POV)
† if you say Ni hao then you're a foreigner
† everything is high tech (all faucets are automatic! cool!)
† most architectural edifices are beautiful o_o...
† drivers are hardcore! (my dad will fit in well)
† intricacy and detail are seen everywhere especially on the historical landmarks
† they love to waste electricity on lights on buildings (it's very entertaining ^_^ )
† people here on bikes can carry 5 times bigger load than their average mass
† chinese don't celebrate halloween (T crying T no candies...)
† they love to believe and design the chinese zodiac (i'm a goat! whee )
