Hey, folks. I guess I need to owe a couple of you some explanations on what's going on...and how it may affect my future here on Gaia, IRC, and the Internet in general.

Just a few minutes ago, I was helping my dad into the back of the car as my mom drove him to the emergency room. He had undergone a heart catherization on Sunday, and although he briefly came back last night, he has started to feel some complications. Some internal bleeding, light-headedness, dehydration. He was just a shadow of the person I have known from upwards of 25 years. His last words upon leaving were "I love you."

Now, my family is strong and stubborn. I know that this may be far from the end for a Naval Academy graduate and a Vietnam Attack Pilot who has worked hard to help me and my sister go into lives free from worry and care, but even then, I am still unsure of what the future may hold. So...if you guys don't hear from me for a while, or I suddenly disappear with little or no explanation, you will know why.

I wish to apoligize in advance, though I'm pretty sure you won't demand one. Just...keep my family in your prayers and know that no matter what happens, I will try my best to keep in touch with all of you.
