One of my best friends favorite bird died yesterday T^T We shall all miss you Orion and your various tendaecies to poop on others head and fall asleep in our hair and on our shoulders! T^T!

And yes, Orion is a very loved bird. She is a Golden Finch. She enjoys pecking at cuticles for some odd reason but she's a very very interesting bird...
When I got the call last night from my dad that Alana wanted me to call her right away, my face went grim... I hung up and looked at my mom who told me to call my dad again and ask what the phone number was [I didn't remember her cell...] So I got the number and called and... she was crying and I asked why and she said [understandable through the sobs] "Orion is gone." my first reaction was pale face , staring out the window of the truck, "Oh my god..." I was sad and trying to fight back sobs, atleast while I was on the phone with her... I told her "I'm so sorry..." and I kept repeating Oh my god... oh my god...I"m so sorry Alana... I'm so sorry... I felt horrible... I told I knew how it felt and that I hoped that she'd be Ok... told her I'd see her tomorrow and hung up... after 5 minutes of pushing back sobs... I let down my wall of protection and started crying myself into my sleeve... and ironically, while this was happening, a song about dieing was on... my mom went to turn it up and I turned it off before she could... I was so sad... and I still am... Alana's doing all right... she's still recovering, she stayed home from school today and I just got off the phone with her... Yup...that's what happened last night... all after a party...
