I almost killed Sammie tonight... Almost... I dropped my brother off at my cousin's house.. and he didn't close the door to my car all the way.. and as I was driving home.. Sammie and Jasper sat next to me in the same seat.. and when I went to turn left at an intersection.. Sammie was standing up and she fell against the door... the door flew open and she fell out.. out.... hit the pavement, rolled... slow motion.. it's horrible... I swerved to the side of the road and slammed on the brake and through it into park and lunged out the passenger side door.. no idea how I got out so fast.. my car is kinda small.. but I can tell you I'm going to have a huge bruise from where I hit the shifter... I got out of the car and sprinted into the middle of the intersection to get Sammie.. she was standing there... looking at the truck that had stopped behind me... because they were opening a door... I ran after her.. and she ran away because she was scared.. and I ran around the truck after her.. and she stopped again.. so I grabbed her and carried her to my car... I was so scared...I thought she was going to die... all I could think about was getting to her... I didn't want to see my Sammie in the middle of the road dead... never... I'm so glad both of them didn't fall out.. I tried to grab for sammie.. but I got Jasper first and held him against the seat until I could stop...I had to jump over him to get out the door.. I don't even remember how...I don't... It's all a blur.. I'm so happy she is okay.. not a scratch on her.. she's my baby... I'm still all shaky and sick to my stomach though... so yeah...
