Terry was now facing the shrouded figure. His shadowed stare seem to freeze Terry in place. He brushed off the glare with a simple nod.
The figure then rose up off the bus seat, slowly advancing towards Terry. Terry's right hand, glove and all, then light up as he threatened the shroud, "No closer or you'll be brighter than a New Year's Roman Candle!"
The figure then began to laugh. Not just any laugh, but the raspy kind that grated on all your nerves, playing xylophone on your spinecord.
The figure then whispered the words, "we'll meet again, Shifter..." He then disappeared into a shadow created by one of the bus seats.
Terry then extinguished his hand and then finished the last few yards to the back of the bus. Taking his seat, Terry then began to wonder about what had just happened. Furthermore, who was that guy and what did he want with him?
