I wrote this in September, for a project that I was doing in school. it is a poem. to me, it sounds kinda like a rap song, but it depends on how you read it.
people of the world, stop thinking about yourselves,
why don't you start thinking about everybody else?
we can change the world, if only we would try,
don't let the unfortunate children get sick,starve, and die.
pollution is rising causing a thing called global warming,
we power our cars and factories, forgetting who we're harming.
Everyone stop fighting because the war is getting old,
Forget about your weapons, your profit, and your gold.
Every single person that lives on this damaged land,
come with me and stand up, come on and take a stand.
