As Joel Croft Set Off To Deuter High, Little Did He Know He Was Being Followed.
As If Earlier This Morning Wasnt Enough. He Had To Cope With A Math Quiz He Didnt Prepare For, He Was Thrown Head First Into A Trash Can, And Rejected By The Girl Of His Dreams: Emma Potter. Being As Joel's Best Friend Was Emma's Brother, James Potter, It Made It Extremely Hard. Rather James Picked On Him About Her All The Time, Or Was It Because Everytime He Tried To Ask Her Out, James Got In The Way? As He Entered Deuter High's Building He Felt A Sudden
Chill Down His Spine. His Blood Went Cold And An Awkward Fear Came Over Him.
Not Wanting To Find Out What This Fear Was, Joel Dashed Into The Building, Ran Down The Hall, And Entered Mr. Goldberg's Math Class, Where He Seated Himself Between James Potter & Duke Wronske. Duke Was A Handsome Boy, The Age Of 15 Going On 16, While James.. James Was The Classclown. To Say The Least, A Joke, If You Will. ''Ello Joel'' Whispered Duke. ''Ello'' Joel Replied In A High-pitched Voice Unlike His Own. Joel Sat There Staring At The Blackboard, Thoughts Of His Dream Were Coming Back, He Couldnt Hear Anyone, Anything, Not The Teacher. Not James. Not Duke. Not Even Emma. A Familiar Chill Went Down His Back Once More. Almost Suddenly He Heard His Name Being Called, It Was Mr. Goldberg!
''Joel'' Said Mr.Goldberg. ''Yes?'' Asked Joel In The Same High-Pitched Paniced Tone. ''What Is The Quadrant Formual For The Phobia Of Darkness?'' Replied The Teacher. Joel Thought Hard. Saying What He Thought The Answer Was Might Spill Out HIS Own Fear Of Darkness, Well Since This Morning Anyway. ''erh..Twenty?''
Said Joel. ''NO'' Shouted Mr. Goldberg. ''Joel! You Learned This In The SEVENTH GRADE'' Said Mr. Goldberg In The Same Aggitated Tone.
''Sorry!!! Bloody Hell, Init My Fault If Ima Having Problems With My So Called Life!''
Joel Shouted At The Teacher. James And Duke Snickering At The Back Of The Room Watcehd Joel Excitedly, Knowing Joel He'd Blow Up Like A Grenade.
A Surprised, Yet Angry Mr. Goldberg Sent All Three Of Them, Joel, Duke, And James To Detention.
