I am tired of going to school, not because I am waiting for summer, or because I find school a dumb idea, I am tired of school because there is nothing to be learned. One of the only useful things I have learned this year is that in order to make the high-school experiance semi-pleasent one needs an insignificant other and the ablility to be a clone of some all mighty person who decides what is cool. Never once did I learn about clinical depression, suicide,eating disorders, the reprecussions of murder on human emotions, how to deal with death or how to become a fully functioning, happy person. Instead I learned the evils of sex, how any act of the "un-cool" will make you want to die, and that no one respects anyone (lets not forget polinomials with distributive law!) perhaps it is just me, but I think some change has to happen, somewhere, someone has to realize that there should be more to the school experiance thena bunch of stuck up rich kids in closed circles. The ideals we were taught in elementary school have been lost in the one place where they should be upheld, no one can be themselves for fear of high-school excommunication. No one can tell me that they can be exactly who they are at school because everyone has something that they are afraid to let anyone know about, it doesn't matter if it's the cheerleader who likes boys and girls or the goth who listens to Norah Jones. I don't see why people even bother anymore.
