Though the moon looks like glass
As its reflecting of the grass
I know this night will pass
And it shall not be the last

Though the people, they all walk around
Their minds have run aground
Their souls they have been bound
But they are humming to the sound

Of a million needles screaming the song
So that they be strong
They know that they were wrong
And the night that was so long

Will end with the coming laser dawn
The moon fading from the lawn
Every queen was once a pawn
Every monster now a fawn

And I will stand here and shall scream
No those words weren’t a dream
They were as painful as they seemed
But all things pass away in streams

And the children they play in the grass
And have forgotten what was past
And there laughter it is glass
Though it shall not be the last
