The L.A.G.G.:
The L.A.G.G. is the List And Guides Guide, the name is a bit odd, and it might get changed later on, but for now the L.A.G.G. is what it shall be. It is an unofficial List of every and all, and I mean ALL, important lists, guides, threads, everything, from the announcements by the admins to the Test forums (and possibley the Memorable Threads Forum). I'll be covering the important threads that give information that can be useful to new users and old users alike, we all have questions on Gaia and more than likely somewhere amongst the many threads, forums, and sub-forums, there are answers, but somtimes those threads aren't easy to find, and thats what this list is here for.

In this list I will go in order of the forums and sub-forums most likely in order from top to bottom unless other order is seen fit. The way the list works is (example.1):

The Forum Name: (description and link)
The Anouncements threads: (description, activity, owner and link)

The Sticky threads: (description, activity, owner and link)
||
||
Other Important threads: (description, activity, owner and link)


Now, some forums have sub-forums within them, here is an example for in the case that a forum has sub-forums, but keep in mind that in this list the main forum information will ALWAYS be at the top, with sub-forums following:

For the activity of the list, that means, depending on what kind of thread it is, either how often people post in it and/or how often the front page(usually priceguides) is updated, they Key:

Black - Dead thread, out of order, locked or other reasons.
Red - almost never updated/barely active
Orange - updated but not often/more active than red
Blue - updated regularly/ regular activity
Green - updated very often/high activity or very active

Announcements:The first Forum on the Forum listings page, this is the place where admins and occasionally mods will post the newest information, upcoming events, and upcoming projects, and is occasionally subject to list the little public problems that Gaia has. link
The Anouncements threads: In the announcment forum, all threads are announcements, and they're all equally important, only admins, some NPC's, and certain mods may make new threads and/or post in this forum, so that about sums up the information on this forum.

This place is not for beggers (there's a forum for that I'll show you later) this is simply to welcome you to Gaia Online, be sure to read all of the rules, most new Gaians make that mistake not too, and end up getting in deep trouble for it, so make sure you do!. link

INTRODUCE yourself and make FRIENDS here!: This thread is the announcement you will always see at the top of the Welcome to Gaia forum, currently the first page is blank because of technical problems on Gaia, but you can still use it to introduce yourself, and meet some other people that are usually very kind, and helpful.

Welcome to Gaia! Rules and Guidelines *READ 2nd POST*:Well I believe this is self Explanitory, these are the rules and guide lines of the Welcom to Gaia (WtG) forum. Some of these rules and guidelines aren't completely specific just to the WtG and should be followed throughout all the the forums unless said otherwise. This announcement thread is very useful and should be refered back to if ever needed.

WTG: Stuff You Need To Know: {READ BEFORE POSTING in WTG!}: YES! this is the one thing that all people should at the VERY least skim through, this thread Is very informative and very helpful, it is a definate read before doing anything on Gaia, it explains almost everthing you'll need to know!(very slow loading time though)

General Discussion: The General Discussion, this is the place where you may discuss things in general (hence the name). These things might be about what's happening on the outside world, whats happening in your life, some one elses, ect. As long as your thread has a good discussion topic, and is relevant, you may post it here (Note: lately the General Discussion (GD) has succome to, spamming, flaming, trolling, ect. Please if you see this, or any thread breaking the rules, please refrain from flaming the life out of it, instead, report it so a mod can take care of it, thanks.)

Word Games and others: *MANY LONG LASTING, ACTIVE THREADS ALERT* Heh, yes this forum is a very active one, with many, many threads that for the majority have many many pages, word games are games such as "Would you date the avi above you" or "Name that Movie!" you know, games that you play whenever one is bored, or just feels like playing one of these games. There are many games that you may choose from, very fun place to find new friends. (Note, this is the WORD GAMES forum, not video games, board games, no other games just word games and the like, please remember that)

You can come here and hope that some one will help, like every forum there are some "rotten eggs" in here, but its mostly a place of support and help for those little issues you just can't handle alone. ^_^

The Extended Discussion:The Extended Discussion (also known as ED), a place of heated discussion about serious topics in the world around us, it has seen it's up's and its down's, and I personally have seen threads go nearly 1000 pages or more over just one topic, and still would never be decided on one way or the other, truly a place where those with something to say, can say it! (there may or may not be a "Important Threads" part of this, seeing as many threads in the ED are important, but if you feel one or two top out over all, do feel free to tell me, and I'll add it)

ZERO TOLERANCE FOR POSTING IN MISPLACED THREADS : AND IT MEANS JUST THAT, BLAST IT! Just like the thread, I'll try to make this as clear as possible, Don't post in missplaced threads, in the ED or anywhere else for that matter, it was missplaced, simply report it if no one else has, and leave it be, threads like that don't need 10 people telling the author the thread is in the wrong forum, it just doesn't help.

[temp] Extended Discussion Rules and Guidelines: Just like any other forum or part of Gaia, the Rules and Guidlines should be the first place you go, and in the ED the moderators are usually pretty strict about their's, so please do read and abide by them, they're there to help.
