I just read a post in ED. The author basically decried all reasons for abstaining from pre-marital sex as groundless (in a slightly nicer way). He went on to edit the post to say that he'd heard of people contracting diseases from lack of sex (what the heck?), and he was assuming that the people that were saving their virginity were also of insufficient integrity to avoid masturbation, while waiting for marriage.
In other words...he was blatantly promoting extra marital sex as a need (he expressly used that word, and said that he meant to us it), and a "demand that must be fulfilled," and then backed it up with spurious notions that a lack of sexual stimulation can be problematic.
My word...have we really fallen this far? Are we really becoming this backwards and screwed up that we not only can't understand reasons for chastity, but that we actively condemn it?
It makes me wonder what kind of other self-control problems said author has...
