Tattoo Your Soul
Moments pass like fleeting specks,
Producing memories so picturesque.
Flamboyant colors sparkle at creations birth;
Over time dulling to ghostly reflections.
Rubicund fire enraptures;
Burning away each heated conflict.
Leaving the ashes to gather,
Until a minty wind blows them away.
Indigo tears cause a distressed mind,
Feeding, warping the implanted melancholy.
But with each ebony cloud, someone follows behind.
Bright, joyous sunshine dancing to hearts loving melody.
Moments pass like fleeting specks,
Don't let them fall outside your grasp.
Have them strike your heart and imprint your soul,
Leaving a piece of art, an everlasting glow.
