How do you think God feels when he looks down
All the oppression, neglection, obsession; Confession
All the hate in the world, it's really sad
People insecure enough to call each other out
The Ku Klux Klan, the Nazis, the Crews
The Rude Boys, the Gangsters, and just plain old fools
Gang violence and Hate Crimes fill up the news
But we can make it stop
Take the steps to achieve
Because the time is running out for those
Who have issues and needs
Unity we fight for, one step together
But we need to remember that we're all brethren
If we don't fight and make it stop, well then who will
Because if we step back then we're gonna get killed
I know I can make a difference
and I can fight back
All we need to do is a take a crack; Down
On all the people who try to fight with violence
What's it gonna do except cause crying
The whipping, lynching, shootings, and burnings
All its gonna do in the end is cause hurting
If thats what you want then you better step off
Because I'm coming headstrong to make sure you stop
I won't resort to violence, drugs, or even guns
But logic, and words, and wisdom and love
Things you don't have but you yearn for, things you need
Not just silly things that can't be conceived, believe
If you have logic, words, wisdom and love
Then you can truly have faith that whats to come
Is some unity, some harmony, and a little struggle
But the struggle is there because we're not the same
We're all different, yet we play the same ball game
And if you fight against those who bring hatred and pain
Then there's really nothing that you can gain
Except for love, and peace, and harmony
And thats all I want for my children...
