I went to the dentist yesterday. That was an adventure. First, I didn't have a ride. So I had to take the bus. I got on the right bus, because, well, every bus pretty much runs by the Mall, which is right by it. But I didn't know which direction. I had a good guess, and set off in that direction, running into, what I thought was the wrong street.

It wasn't. Which I found out after... well, a long time wandering. I think I wasted 45 minutes to an hour. Yeah. That sucked. But that's all right, I made it on time. If only barely.

But basically, the point of this trip was to get two fillings. I've only had one before in my life, and the experience of being numb on one side was amusing. I didn't have any cavities, my teeth are shaped funny in the back, making them cavity-prone, so we filled them before any formed. A pre-emptive strike! Bwahaha! (Did I just use a military analogy for teeth?! DX)

Anyway, it's the two molars in the very back, on the bottom side. (Now anyone who can hack my doctor's files can probably find me. XD) So, because they're on opposite sides, they had to numb the WHOLE mouth. That felt funny.

Have you ever felt your skin when you're completely numb? Just remember, this is what other people feel. My facial hair (What little of it that actually grows in) really is pretty soft. I've felt some rough facial hair. Anyway, it's amusing. But there is one important thing you MUST remember to do if this happens to you.

Swallow frequently. You don't realize how much we depend on feeling to keep us from drooling. Seriously. It's really hard to swallow. You have to tilt your head back and when you swallow, it's like swallowing gum. But do it frequently.

But it's really funny. I kept checking my lip to make sure it wasn't sticking out really far. *laughs*

That was an amusing day.
