When Math Turns into Literature and Social Studies
mood: uber relieved - gonk

OK, my week's been a bit more interesting than usual. It was History and Science month in our school, so basically, we had a bunch of activities.

Well, not entirely everyone was needed for the Science part. The History part was the fun part.

It goes like this, alright? We, the Highschool students [I have no idea what the grade schoolers did], had to decorate our classrooms according to the many festivals of our country. One classroom, one festival. It was fun. We had to go around the next day [after the day of designing the classrooms] and take note of each festival, its place of celebrating, etc. My favourites are the Mudpack Festival of 3D, the Aswang [meaning ghost] Festival of 3C and Flores de Mayo [Flowers of May] of 4A.

Well, I'm from 1D, and as n00bs in this kind of thing, us freshmen's classrooms weren't much compared to theirs. My most favourite was 3D's. I can't exactly choose between theirs and 3C's, though.

In 3D, it was scary. I didn't get the first part, but in the second part, we had to go to the other half of the classroom. The classroom was divided into two, by the way. Anyway, so in that half, it was dark. It was supposed to look like some kind of dark church, I guess. It was awesome. They stacked up some tables and a couple of girls [all-girl school to remind you] were on top of them. They wore white, and they had red face paint or paint on them as if blood. They were holding candles, even. All of a sudden, the candle lights went out and other girls that were hiding under the tables, covered by black cloth, came out and scared the crap out of us. I loved it.

Then at 3C, being the Aswang Festival, it was supposed to be scary, too. So we were just walking, and all these tables were again covered in black. Third year girls were fraking us out by brushing their hands all around us. *shiver* Oh, again, from under the tables hid a bunch of students who were scaring us by trying to grab our feet. It was brilliant. And I loved the icky jars of dead stuff they had, like it was from the lab. xd

Flores de Mayo was just a fun type of festival. We danced. Haha. It was funny. The two students who sang as a girl and a guy were so good at it. I enjoyed the show. I can't explain it all because I dunno how to. sweatdrop It was just fun.

School. Gahhh. Math was going insane. Our substitute teacher spoke so poetically while teaching us Math. Is it a bad combination or what? She calls the terms creatures. She says Math is like chess where we have to know our pieces and how to use them. And then when we don't listen to her and slack off, she gets mad like any other teacher would. She says that if we were to be helping our country in the future and be in the government, we have to listen. Since when did Math involve that? I'm glad Sir, our original teacher, is coming back to the classroom next week. It's easier to study with him.

Ugh. Anyway, Science was a lot more fun. Sir's such a fun guy. Haha. His classes are so fun.

I dunno what else to say about school. So now I shall talk about my friends. I'm RP-ing with Omny, by the way. whee

I've plans tomorrow with my friends, basically. We're going out to the mall to watch a movie and lok for mangas and other stuff like that. We're planning to watch Resident Evil or something scary. Then they're going to sleep over at my place. We're gonna use the net, play video games and watch scary movies. Haha. I invited three friends, really. Omny, Red and Tantei/Mello. Nyaha.

So yeah, that's all I wanted to talk about. I'll post again tomorrow or the day after about the outing and sleep over. Too lazy. xd

See you! 3nodding
